Traveling to Japan had always been a dream of mine, and I decided to spend two months there. I have no words to describe how fascinating this country is. The culture, the traditions, the landscapes, the food, the people, the respect that permeates everything.
After my first month, my mom joined me and it became an experience of a lifetime. Going during fall was a deliberate choice to avoid the overcrowded cherry blossom season, and it turned out to be the perfect idea. Driving through the Japanese Alps with a spectrum of autumn colors I had never seen before, and of course, the maple trees offering that deep, blood-red color... it was pure magic.
